The Almighty Creator, -- His Majesty, aka Izzy – looks down on Earth, His creation, with despair and severe disappointment. Seeing the mayhem, hatred and war that mankind has devolved into, His initial reaction is to destroy Earth and start over.
But not so fast.... His Holy Consort, Lady Gina – equal to Him in every aspect of power and dimension – demands that He abandon His plan. He finally relents on the condition that three good people can be found on Earth. Chosen for this mission is the recently deceased Mexican gardener, Marcos. But Marcos, seeing his loved ones again, loses his will, and Izzy’s loyal assistant, Sameer, the deceased Indian soul from Mumbai, is sent back to Earth to find Marcos. Amidst this confusion, the 18thCentury Scottish soul, Diana, confronts Lady Gina with the profound questions of life and death. How the world is saved, through humor and pathos, is at the heart of “Heaven on the Loose,” by award-winning writer and director, Ken Luber.

What people are saying about Heaven on the Loose...
“Ken's play shall enrapture your soul and provide great joy to your intellect.”
Doug Austin, Actor, Author
“Heaven on the Loose, a feast of canny wisdom with the emotion of poetry and a little humor on the side, shows Luber at the top of his form. It leaves you feeling comfortable talking with your creator and knowing the existence of enduring love.
Lissa Evans, Poet/Photographer
Heaven On the Loose, a new play by Ken Luber, is glass of champagne, at first sip, light and bubbly on the tongue. It’s witty and funny … perfectly timed for our current political culture, divided and uncertain.
LaDonna Harrison, editor, author
“A suddenly woke (and deeply disappointed) God wants to scrap it all and start anew. But standing in His way are Marcos, a new arrival in Heaven, and Lady Gina, God's sensible counterpart. Can a Mexican immigrant and a wise-cracking woman save the universe? … funny and provocative. Can't wait to see it performed!”
Eduardo Santiago, award-winning author of Tomorrow They Will Kiss.
“I had the honor of previewing this amazing, funny, touching, interestingly twisted story. I can hardly wait to experience it ‘in the flesh.’”
Mary Morse - Director, Spirit Mountain Retreat
